Setup and Configuration

How difficult is it to set up a business?


Typically takes less than 10 minutes - you download the application for your iPhone or iPad from the AppStore, answer a few questions around how you want to operate your store SafeW8 queue (opening hours, authorized users, number of people in the queue etc.) and you are live. Anybody with the app can sign up to virtually wait in line. You do have the option to leave the queue in private mode for testing.




How do I set up a queue for my Store?


Download the store app from the app store. Select your store, configure a few parameters on the setup screen (max number of people in the store, operating hours, and typical amount of time a shopper spends in your store), name your queue and you are done. Your queue is live for customers to join. Please note that for your security, you must be inside your store to setup a queue for your store, and you must provide a phone number for us to verify your store. This is for your safety to ensure the queue is legitimate.




Does SafeW8 support multiple roles within my store?


Yes, you can setup multiple roles with different permissions.




What is SafeW8 Training Mode?


SafeW8 Training mode allows you to set up a real queue on the real system so you can try out the features and train your staff without having actual customers on the queue. You can also use this to pilot the queue for a few select customers.

How does SafeW8 handle customers that walk-up or don’t have the application?


SafeW8 allows businesses to reserve capacity for walk-up customers. When the greeter gets the next person to enter they will be told to pull from either from the walk-up queue or the online queue depending on the rules defined.
